
You don’t have to know everything about energy healing to recognize when something in you feels stuck.
Blocked chakras don’t always show up in dramatic ways. More often, they show up in patterns. The same emotional triggers. The same heaviness. The same fear, tension, or sense that something is off even when you can’t fully explain why.
That’s why one of the most helpful questions you can ask is not, “What’s wrong with me?” but instead: What keeps showing up in my body, my emotions, and my life?
Your chakras are the energy centers in your body, and each one is connected to different parts of your emotional, physical, mental, and spiritual wellbeing.
When energy is flowing, you tend to feel more grounded, clear, connected, and steady in yourself. When your chakras are blocked, that energy gets held instead of moving.
These blocks are often connected to:
emotional experiences that were never fully processed
stress your body held onto
beliefs formed during difficult moments
patterns that have repeated long enough to feel normal
This is why chakra blocks do not simply disappear because you understand them. They stay in the body until they are ready to be released.
Blocked energy can look different from person to person, but here are some of the most common signs I see:
repeating the same emotional patterns even when you understand them
difficulty expressing yourself clearly or feeling fully heard
cycles of burnout, overwhelm, or emotional exhaustion
feeling stuck in decisions or constantly second-guessing yourself
tension or heaviness in specific areas of the body
feeling disconnected from yourself, your truth, or your next step
These patterns often point to energy that has not fully moved through your system yet.
In my work with clients, this is one of the biggest things I see. People are aware. They’ve reflected. They’ve journaled. They’ve done the inner work, but the energy underneath it still hasn’t been released.
This is where it gets important.
Not every chakra block will show up the same way.
For some people, blocked energy shows up as anxiety, fear, and feeling unsafe in their body or life.
For others, it may look like:
creativity feeling shut down
emotional numbness
self-doubt
trouble setting boundaries
fear of intimacy
difficulty speaking the truth
feeling lost, foggy, or disconnected from purpose
This is one of the reasons chakra work can feel so validating. It helps you connect the dots between what you are feeling and where your energy may be asking for support.

When you know how to recognize the signs your chakras are blocked, you stop making yourself wrong for what you are experiencing. You can start seeing your patterns differently.
Not as proof that you are broken, but as information. As an invitation from your body. As a sign that something deeper may be ready to move.
This was something I had to learn in my own healing too. I understood what I had been through, but it was not until I started releasing it from my body and chakras that I truly felt the difference.
